It is with great pleasure that we recommend Russ Bee, with JSG Associates, as your custom homebuilder. We purchased our home at 800 Trumpeter Way in Rockwall from Russ in July 2002. The quality of the construction is higher than we have ever experienced in the past, and the level of customer service that we have received is exemplary.

We moved to Rockwall from across the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, as soon as our last child graduated high school. We did not know anyone in RockwalL but had read and been told many wonderful things about the area. We were very attracted to the community, as its proximity to the lake is irresistible, and it still has retained much of its "small town" charm. We expected to have several months from the time that we first put our home on the market and the time it would actually sell and during that time, we had hoped to identify a builder in Rockwall to build our new home. We were very surprised when we sold our home in less than two weeks. We spent many nights and a couple of weekends searching for a pre-owned home or for a new "spec" home that would meet our needs and expectations. Of course, we were hoping to only have to move once, rather than having to move into a temporary situation while we awaited construction on a new home.

It took us a while to find Russ, as we had to work our way through the nationally advertised builders, building in the highly publicized developments before we found him We had almost settled for a home once or twice along the way, but had never gotten comfortable enough to put our money on the table and sign on the dotted line. Finally, when we had almost given up, Rod Holland from Regal Realtors, lead us to Russ Bee, the only true custom homebuilder that we met in the process.

We were immediately impressed with the two homes that Russ showed us, being in two different stages of completion. One turned out to be perfect, and we purchased it right away. The lot was perfect, the view of a park and duck pond behind it was very nice, and the house plan was just what we had wanted. The construction was far enough along that we did not have an opportunity to have input into every phase of it, but Russ made sure that we did not miss an opportunity to make changes from the point we became involved. We asked for a few upgrades, and he diligently searched for the materials required to honor our requests. We didn't need to make many changes, as the homes that Russ builds come standard with many features considered to be upgrades by other builders.

Russ kept the construction timeline that he promised, and he also kept us informed in the process every step of the way. When he sent us to local vendors to choose appliances, special flooring, and lighting, we heard nothing but praise for Russ Bee. Each merchant went out of his or her way to tell us that we had chosen the very best builder that Rockwall had to offer.

After we moved in, Russ worked with us to have the normal, small repairs that are expected in a new home accomplished on a timely basis. He was even willing to take one of our keys and let the repairmen in on our behalf, since we commute a long way to work and it is inconvenient to come home in the middle of the day. Long after our one year warranty ran out, we have found that Russ has been willing to use his relationships to help us obtain the services we have needed with minimum inconvenience and cost to us.
